Turning a social media audience into an online academy that sells
A complete site and academy for an automotive content creator: course catalogue, private student area and checkout, with Shopify running underneath without showing.
The challenge
Irati Etxandi is an electromechanics and diagnostics technician with a large social following. She had the knowledge and the community, but nowhere to turn that audience into paying students. She needed something that looked neither like a generic store nor an off-the-shelf course platform, and that handled catalogue, payments and private access without depending on anyone to update it.
What we did
We built a custom frontend with Shopify acting as a headless backend: catalogue, checkout and orders run on Shopify, but the visitor never sees it. A 15-plus page architecture covering catalogue, course pages, consulting, one-to-one mentoring, community, support and the full legal set. A private student area for course content. And social proof done properly: a carousel of video testimonials hosted on the site itself, a wall of reviews from students in ten countries, and Trustpilot integration. The copy was built on a real diagnosis of the sector, which is that most workshops replace parts instead of diagnosing.
