A website for a project that uses badminton against multiple myeloma
The website of BadMMinton Project, the adapted badminton programme for multiple myeloma patients run in Gijón by Club Bádminton Gijón and the Haematology Department of Cabueñes University Hospital.
From problem to solution
- 01 · The challenge
BadMMinton Project had been running for almost three years: weekly training, charity tournaments, a presence at medical conferences.
All of it lived scattered across social media and word of mouth. What was missing was a place that explained clearly what the project is and why it works, and that served patients, families, volunteers, partners and healthcare staff at once.
- 02 · What we did
We built a website with a path for each audience: what adapted exercise brings, activities and events, testimonials, research, volunteering and how to help.
The content is written to be understood without medical knowledge and to show up when someone searches for adapted sport or myeloma in Gijón. The project's social media posts are shown inside the site itself, so it stays up to date on its own, and we remain in charge of maintenance.
