An in-house tool for pipeline, projects, tasks and profitability, with distinct roles and the financial module isolated at database level.
The challenge
No off-the-shelf tool did the two things we needed at once: manage projects and see each one's real profitability. And the ones that came close left the numbers visible to the whole team, which is a problem when external people work on a project.
What we did
We built it. Sales pipeline, projects, tasks, deadlines and profitability, with three distinct roles: admin, project manager and member. The financial module is isolated with row-level security in the database itself, not by hiding buttons in the interface: someone without permission cannot reach the data even through the API. With a calendar, automatic project health indicators, multi-language and dark mode.
