Bringing a jeweller's workshop into an online catalogue
A jewellery marketplace on Shopify with a category catalogue, custom jewellery, restoration and visual content produced in the workshop.
The challenge
A jeweller with its own workshop sells something a catalogue photo does not capture: the handwork behind each piece. And a good part of the business, custom work and restoration, does not fit a fixed price with a buy button.
What we did
We built the marketplace on Shopify with the catalogue organised by category, and gave the non-transactional side its own place: custom jewellery and restoration each with their own path. We also produced the visual content in the workshop, which is what turns a piece into a piece made by someone.
