The Artificial Intelligence course we teach at university
Design and delivery of the Artificial Intelligence programme on the AI degree and master's at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio: 34 sessions across five blocks.
The challenge
Teaching AI at university level carries a difficulty that teaching it inside a company does not: the syllabus has to hold up to academic rigour and still be useful for work. Too theoretical and you produce people who can explain a model but cannot ship one; too practical and it is obsolete in six months.
What we did
We designed the full programme across five blocks and 34 sessions, with lectures, hands-on projects and assessments, built entirely in Moodle. The design principle was the same one we apply on client work: explain what AI actually does, where it fails, and when it is not worth using. This case is also why training is a service at Elevatec rather than an add-on.
