The sales CRM that left a no-code platform without the team noticing
USP's sales tool lived on Base44. We moved it to its own code on Supabase and Vercel, with the same 36 screens, its automations, the AI that drafts proposals and the GoHighLevel connection.
From problem to solution
- 01 · The challenge
USP's sales team worked every day in a sales tool built on Base44: leads, proposals, email sequences, a college search tool and advisor training.
It worked, but the data and the logic lived on someone else's platform, with its performance limits, its pricing and no control over where the information of thousands of families ended up. Switching tools was not an option: the team could not lose a single day of sales or learn anything again.
- 02 · What we did
We moved the entire application to its own code without touching the interface the team already knew.
The database, login and files moved to Supabase, with row-level security so each advisor sees only their own leads, and the application deploys on Vercel. We rewrote the 24 server functions that used to run inside Base44: AI proposal generation, duplicate lead detection and merging, imports, email sending, GoHighLevel sync and the Google Chat alert to the team every time a sale closes. And we left an automated test that checks no advisor can see another advisor's leads.
