Clocking in that complies with the law without anyone having to remember it
Internal time tracking and HR platform for a branding agency: working time records compliant with Spain's Royal Decree-law 8/2019, geolocation, remote work, summer hours, holidays and sick leave with supporting documents, and reports for management.
From problem to solution
- 01 · The challenge
Since 2019 every company in Spain must record each person's working hours and keep the records for four years.
TresBe handled it the way so many small businesses do: spreadsheets nobody filled in on time and holidays requested by email. Off-the-shelf tools did not fit how they work, with people in the office and remote, shorter summer and Christmas hours, and breaks that also have to be recorded.
- 02 · What we did
We built their own platform, under their brand.
Employees clock in, record coffee and lunch breaks and clock out from their phone or computer, and the system uses geolocation to check whether they are at the office or working remotely. The company's schedules are built in, including the shorter summer hours, so each entry is compared with what that day required. Holidays, personal days and sick leave are requested from the app itself, with document upload and approval. Management has a dashboard with team attendance, reports exportable to Excel and user management with three permission levels.
